An array of jewelry pieces sit on a piano

Je t'aime Paris

Today's post is inspired by Rachmaninoff and the Sorbonne.

The view from the stage has us swooning with butterflies in our stomach, how about you?

June Wu the pianist called us earlier this summer to tell us the wonderful news that she had been invited to play with Francois Boulanger the conductor at the Grand Amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne. Our conversation immediately turned to what will she wear and which jewelry.

After months and months of practicing on her Steinway we met to select the finishing touches.

There was an array of pieces that would work but your guess was as good as ours as to what would make the cut the big night.

Sparkling all night long she chose our Hair Accessories tucked into a halo braid with the Cherry Blossom Earrings

We contemplated jaunting off to Paris to see the concert but as soon as we had the thoughts the tickets were sold out, so the next best thing is to hear the concert here Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 1
