Lapis lazuli and Three Turquoise Scarab Necklace

Handmade, one-of-a-kind faience scarabs make this a powerful necklace, studded with lapis lazuli and turquoise beads. Ancient Egyptians wore amulets in the shape of scarab beetles to offer protection on the path of birth and rebirth, often  made of bright turquoise faience to increase the potency of the talisman's magic. They regarded lapis as sent from the gods to heal, relieve pain, cure insomnia and vertigo, and overcome depression and hearing loss.
